Alessandro Previdi, born in 1990, grew up in the Ossola valleys around Lake Maggiore. In 2019 he transformed his passion into a profession by becoming an AMM.
He is part of the Association of Italian Alpine Guides and is the founder of Natural Mind Professional. The objective of the experiences in Natural Mind Professional is to share quality moments and convey the value and emotions that nature and the mountains can offer.
Adrenaline, adventure, amazement, but also the rediscovery of places that still preserve intact their history written by the ancient communities that lived there.
With various work experiences in the tourism and commercial fields, but also customized according to requests, the journey continues in all seasons of the year, alternating proposals based on the conditions of the mountain and the places that most attract us!
I am a visitor to the mountains in winter to ski and in summer to do some trekking, I went with the idea of seeing some landscape and taking some photos to post it on social media nothing more.
But since I met Alessandro he made me change my perspective in seeing the mountain as a resource of energy for our body, our mind and our spirit.
He always explained to me in every detail form color the small corners and the things that are along the promenade that until yesterday seemed trivial but with him he makes you understand why they are there and where we men come from as if everything even the smallest pebble plays a role in this universe.
It makes walking much easier, smoother, more fun and more interesting / exploratory for me. When he takes me to discover the beauties of Ossola I manage to be at one with nature to forget the usual routine at home and leave the stress behind. It is good to revive the story of what happened many years ago in that path, valley, mountain that our "grandparents" lived, fought, worked to be what we are now.
I always remember that day that we arrived at the foot of the east side of Monterosa, I used to the Dolomites remain impressed by the majesty, power, grandeur and beauty of this mountain, we stopped on a large boulder to admire it in silence, at that moment he taught me that in addition to seeing you can hear the mountain, a moment of peace that I never remember having that feeling, I was fine I felt my body perfectly full of energy and I thought that we are trying to complicate our lives to get better when it is enough to get up these magnificent mountains of the Ossola Valley.
Now even if I live far away when I see the posts on the Natural Mind page it makes me remember those magnificent moments those magnificent mountains to get even better during the day!

Ghiacciaio del Belvedere, Luglio 2017A professional stands out when, thanks to his expertise, he is able to solve a problem.
In my case, after many years in which I have not been able to go to the mountains, the guide Alessandro Previdi was able to prepare me in a few months psychologically and athletically to complete a path that fully satisfied my desire to walk.
I still remember that moment of approaching the last stretch to reach the top. I could choose whether to go from the more "standard" route or from a safe but less known side. Well, only an expert and prepared guide is able to make you experience the joy of reaching a peak with amazement, making you exceed your limits.

After a long time not taking a trip to the mountains, we decided to organize the trip to Zamboni, a non-binding destination because I hadn't been walking in the mountains for a long time, but I wanted to relive this experience. The walk to reach the destination is not tiring, but the walk awakens the mind and allows you to live in the present connected with nature, listening to the noises and smelling the scents that surround you, admiring everything, forgetting the stress of everyday life. You learn to listen to your body and to feel what it needs step by step, which we sometimes forget to do in the daily rush of life.
I recommend Alessandro because he is a patient person who knows how to understand the potential of each of us, pushes you to do more, but does not force you to achieve goals that in your perspective you consider impossible, he leaves you time and eventually you will be the one to say that you are. ready to reach the top and surpass yourself!

I have been lucky enough to know Alessandro's business since it was an idea and I immediately understood that this business would have a future because Alessandro really believes in it and puts passion and commitment into everything he does.
I recommend Alessandro as a Guide because he is able to understand what people's goals are and he knows how to make even a challenging journey fun.
I recommend it because based on the group of people with whom he relates, he understands their level of experience in the mountains and based on that he plans the most suitable excursion.

I met Alessandro in July 2008 at the first of the two Mountaineering Courses that we would have attended together in the splendid basin of Alpe Pedriola, in the Macugnaga area, at the foot of the most Himalayan of the European Alpine walls: the East of Monte Rosa. We were about fifteen students, I was one of the oldest, Alessandro, with his 18 years was one of the youngest.
I remember his formidable appetite when he returned to the Zamboni Zappa Refuge for dinner after a day of training: nothing was saved and nothing was brought back, Alessandro thought to finish everything. It was bottomless.
I have already said that he was young, but even then he was very poised, thoughtful, empathetic and helpful with his companions, attentive to the explanations of our Instructors and diligent in carrying out the activities covered by the Course.
An episode with Alessandro as the protagonist struck me in a particular way.
The following year, it was 2009, we both enrolled in the higher level mountaineering course, always with the Club dei 4000 of Macugnaga. In the meantime, we had accumulated some experience and already had some 4,000 to our credit. But we had never yet had any mountaineering inconvenience or accident.
That day the Alpine Guide who was our instructor, Fabio Iacchini, took 3 students to make the Via dei Balossi, 300 meters of development with difficulty 5c - 5b. The students were: the writer, Alessandro and Paul Sales, a 30-40 year old Frenchman.
Fabio took me with him, I was the least strong and I did it all as second, while he gave another rope to Alessandro and Paul who tied themselves together and alternated as first of the rope.
In a passage a little more demanding than the others, due to the particularly slippery rock, Alessandro who was progressing from second in that pitch, slipped, hitting different parts of the body and getting abrasions that immediately bled, and remained hanging. It was a matter of a moment, he immediately strengthened himself and returned to being the master of the situation, without noise, without fuss, without a cry, with great tranquility.
When we rejoined the top of the Battisti, he explained to me that he understood that he had to react immediately while the traumas were anesthetized by adrenaline, that if he had waited perhaps fear and pain would have prevented him from completing the ascension. I was struck by the calm of that 19-year-old boy, who even then moved with ease on rock, on ice, on mixed terrain.
Here, Alessandro is like this, calm, in control of the situation, it is natural to rely on him, as I have done a few times in the following years. Now he is also competent because he is growing culturally, a good connoisseur of the territory, enthusiastic, even more mature and increasingly driving.
I would recommend anyone to rely on Alessandro as a guide and I would recommend taking advantage of his company to listen carefully as he tells, explains and in doing so transmits his passion for the mountains that has become a lifestyle for him.

Spent a fabulous weekend walking in the Dolomites with Alessandro who was scouting the future school area to prepare for the driving exam. The views were gorgeous and the company great. The first day of trekking I had considerable difficulties towards the end of the route due to repeated cramps in a phase of the journey that was not entirely simple.
In that situation Alessandro gave me a hand and was patiently close to me as he is suited to an excellent guide and travel companion in the mountains. He organized the route in an excellent (perhaps overestimating my skills a bit) and precise way.
With him you live the mountains. The experience, albeit tiring, was profoundly formative to know myself and my limits. I thank him so much for that.
The second day no problem and it was a beautiful day of trekking!
Thanks Ale

A very positive collaboration began with Alessandro, together with him, already more expert on trails, with Meteo Live Vco and CNR Verbania, we reached various Ossola glaciers to take GPS and photographic measurements of the current state.
Long walks in the company of Alessandro are pleasant, the discussions at times leave the right space for moments of silence enraptured by wonderful landscapes. The thing that surprised me most about Alessandro, for good, is the desire to do, determined towards his targets.
I recommend it as a guide ... also for the next glaciological season

It has happened to me several times to find myself in Nature with Alessandro because we have a friendly relationship we went skiing several times and I want to tell, however, this time not about when we skied but about when we went for an excursion on Lucomagno.
However, I can say that on all occasions he has proved to be very competent in what concerns geological and environmental knowledge.
Very motivated he always explained to me more than interesting things to which I also asked questions and he always knew how to give me answers.
As a friend and person who has been with him at Lukmanier I can also say that in addition to being very competent, Alessandro is a very kind and respectful person who makes you feel at ease even if you have kind of questions he is not a brusque person, he is a funny person but also with whom you feel at ease.
As for the trip to Lucomagno it was in winter, it was a splendid day. After visiting the pass we went to eat something.
With Alessandro you can really talk about everything, but in what concerns the trip even during lunch he was able to tell me a lot of information and let me discover aspects of Lucomagno that I myself, despite being Swiss, did not know.

I met Alessandro in the summer of 2017 thanks to Diego, a mutual friend who told me about the Natural Mind project. Working on the Vogogna Castle and trying to make the most of the architectural structure and the area on which it stands, I asked Alessandro for an opinion to try to establish an action strategy by mutual agreement to make this place better known. One of the main channels of visibility for the Castle is the Facebook page, Alessandro has committed for a period of three months to take care of the management of the page, updating it daily with curiosities, anecdotes, stories and events of the season. After a series of inspections and researches, he developed a series of short films inside and outside the structure to intrigue the possible user of the Castle, also providing notions and information through targeted texts. Thanks to his preparation he managed to increase the followers of the page and to attract a greater audience to the activities carried out at the castle at that time.
Alessandro's passion and knowledge of the territory led me to greatly appreciate the work done for the Castle and more generally to admire his desire to make Ossola and its beauties known to those who have not yet discovered them; I think it was a good idea to decide to develop action plans to help organizations, cultural heritage, companies and local activities in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area. I would advise anyone who works in the tourism-cultural field to contact Alessandro, who thanks to his skills and studies carried out is able to better understand what and who to aim for in order to improve visibility and use of historical sites. I also recommend Alessandro as a mountain guide to all those who wish to approach Ossola also from a naturalistic, hiking and environmental point of view.

I spent some beautiful days in the mountains in the company of Alessandro both in summer and in winter.
The organization has always been impeccable!
He had the ability to convey to me the love he has for the mountains and above all he knew how to make me feel safe even in situations that are really unusual for me!
He has a dedication and knowledge that they are passionate about!
